Visit Scilly Tourist Information Site
The Isles of Scilly site has general information about all the islands, how to get here, where to eat and what's on.
St. Agnes Boating
For information on boat trips to other islands or for your travel to and from St. Agnes, contact Molly or John at St. Agnes Boating. They also offer a weekly pass which is well worth considering if you are staying for any length of time; if you book it in advance it will include your island transfer trip aswell.
Isles of Scilly Travel
To travel the 28 miles across the sea from the mainland there are two options: to fly by 'Skybus' in a small plane from a choice of 3 airports in the southwest, or to take the passenger ferry 'The Scillonian' from Penzance. Both modes of transport bring you to St. Mary's, the largest of the inhabited islands and are run by one company.
XC Weather
Weather is always a topic of conversation on Scilly as it greatly affects our daily lives: our transport, food deliveries, post, hospital appointments, water supply.. We've found this site to be very handy, just type in our postcode: TR22 0PL to get the low down on Scilly weather.
