Flying to Scilly on Skybus

Getting here..

To travel the 28 miles across the sea from the cornish coast to Scilly there are two main options: to fly by 'Skybus' in a small plane from a choice of 3 airports in the southwest, or to take the passenger ferry 'The Scillonian' from Penzance.  Both modes of transport bring you to St. Mary's, the largest of the inhabited islands and are run by one company, Isles of Scilly Travel, click here to go to their webpage giving information on timetables, fares and also parking/leaving your car in Penzance:

St. Mary's to St. Agnes

To travel to St. Agnes, you will then need to take a boat journey of about 15 minutes from St. Mary's to the smallest off-island of St. Agnes.  If you have arrived by Skybus, a taxi will be waiting at the airport ready to take you down to the quay; if you have travelled on the Scillonian, any luggage in the containers will be transferred directly onto the St. Agnes boat, you then just need to get yourself on it!  Our island boat service is a family run business called St. Agnes Boating and has two boats, the easily recognisable 'Spirit of St. Agnes' with its twin hulls, or the smaller 'Enterprise'; to see their full service and timetable follow the link below.  If you are staying for a week or so you may find the weekly pass useful..

Arriving at Covean

Once you have confirmed your booking with us we will ask for your travel details so that one of us can meet you off the boat on St. Agnes quay.  From the quay it is a short walk (past the Turk's Head pub..) to the cottage; we will take your luggage on ahead in the golf buggy but only have room for one passenger at a time should you require it.  Then its time to relax...
